A life-long Presbyterian Bible teacher is coming to preach at the Larison’s Corner on 13 October 2019. Rev. Jin Han, a Minister of Word and Sacrament of the Presbyterian Church (USA), teaches Biblical Studies at New York Theological Seminary in New York City. He has been involved in developing Bible Study resources with the United Methodist Publishing House and Westminster John Knox Press. While participating in the preparation of future ministers, he has served many churches as a temporary pastor who serves the eternal God. We welcome him in Jesus name.
Reverend Courtney Cromie was ordained in 1997 by The Presbytery of Tropical Florida. In her early years of ministry, Reverend. Cromie served as an Associate Pastor for Colesville Presbyterian in Silver Springs, Maryland, First Presbyterian Church in Boca Raton, Florida, and Yorkminster Presbyterian Church in Yorktown, Virginia. Answering a call from God to combine her love of seminaries and church congregations, Reverend. Cromie later became Pastor-in-Residence & Assistant Program Director for Princeton Theological Seminary’s Continuing Education Department followed by The Director of Vocations and Admissions for Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was a church-plant pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian in Jackson, New Jersey and most recently served as pastor of Frenchtown Presbyterian in nearby Frenchtown, New Jersey. Reverend Cromie has a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University in Auburn Alabama, a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary here in New Jersey. She is currently a licensed Real Estate Agent in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with Weichert Realtors in Yardley, Pennsylvania. She is also in the process of starting an online business for new and upcycled fashion and home goods. Rev. Cromie offers pulpit supply, officiates at weddings and funerals, and is a notary public in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She counts as her hobbies photography, writing, painting, travel, the arts, and fine dining. She will be preaching on September 29th and then again on October 20th and 27th.
Reverend Amy Ruhf is a recent graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and is a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the PC (USA). She has accepted a call to serve at First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor Michigan. In her ministry, Amy seeks to break down walls of division between people and groups so that they may be open to God’s call to them. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending as much time as possible in God’s creation, reading, and making music. She will be preaching July 28th.
Dynamic and inspiring is how one parishioner describes the Reverend Kerwin Webb. A Baptist minister who graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Alabama State University, he holds a certificate in Christian Ministry from Pillar College. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. Listen to one of his sermons—such as the one he preached on Father’s Day—and you will not be disappointed!
Pauline J. Sexton is honorably retired from the Presbytery of Philadelphia. She is a graduate of Eastern University, with a BA in Organizational Development and M.Div from Princeton Theological Seminary. Pauline has served several churches as Interim Pastor in the Philadelphia Presbytery, and as the Chaplain, Director of Spiritual Care at Doylestown Hospital. She is currently a Pastoral Associate for visitation at Doylestown Presbyterian Church She lives in Chalfont, PA with her husband, John and her frisky Bishon Friese, Roscoe.
Rev. Chris Bush graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA in 2017 with a Master of Divinity degree. He is an ordained Minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and serves as the pastor of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Ringoes, NJ. He also teaches Middle School Bible at Crossroads Christian Academy in Clinton, NJ. Chris and his wife, Kelly, live in Ringoes, NJ.
