Prep 2 hrs. ∙ Cook 3 hrs. ∙ Makes 10 ∙ Difficulty Medium ∙ Source Captain Carroll Harris
- 2 lb. hamburger/ground venison: 1 lb pork sausage
- bread crumbs to taste
- 3 eggs; 3 tsp mustard
- 2 whole small shallots; salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups Sweet Baby Rays Hawaiian barbecue sauce
- 2 tsp paprika
- 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp salt
Mix all ingredients for meatballs together and add to medium saucepan with olive oil
Brown on all sides.
Make sure they are cooked all the way through.
Mix ingredients for the sauce.
Add meatballs and sauce to crock pot and cook on low for three to four hours.
Serve and enjoy.
Takes time to prepare but well worth the effort. I add 1/3 pork sausage
to the meatballs for a unique flavor
