• Bacon, 1 lb (use a center-cut bacon for best results but any type of bacon will work)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Line a baking sheet with foil (a 13 x 17 sheet will be the right size for a pound of bacon)
Place a cooling rack on top of the foil (optional)
Place bacon strips on the rack or directly on the foil, if not using a rack
Bake 15-20 minutes (timing will be based on how crispy you prefer your bacon to be)
I love cooking bacon this way, because you have such an easy cleanup without splatter all over the stove. You also have plenty of bacon for later use. 20 seconds in the microwave and you have hot bacon for breakfast.
